Singer and actress and song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the team in One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. Her first few releases as a country artist appeared on the episodes of the show, which helped her debut album of the same name into the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. It was the end of the decade with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. In 2021, the self-doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to the country genre, later on, she decided to explore a career in recording. But, she began her acting career as young teenager in 2002's independent horror movie Dead/Undead. In the past, she appeared on several shows, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before being cast on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she continued to appear until the series' final season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary music video for the love song of a country singer I Won't Give Up. It later appeared on her debut album Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The track ranked fifth in the Billboard Top Country Albums. The singer focused her attention on her singing career, but she also continued acting and starred in films that drew her followers like Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) as well as Steven Tyler's duet with Aerosmith helped the album to get even better reviews which saw it reach the top three spot in the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. This was also the season that she landed an adult contemporary smash, with the song Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
