In addition, she appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. She appeared in 2008 as Yasim Angwar, the BBC five-episode Miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in The Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. The actress later played a significant role in the 2014 film Fury in which she played an German woman named Irma Aunt of Emma.
