It was her praiseworthy performance as Casey Jackson, a teenage girl in Ulee's Gold that brought her notoriety. Her role in this film won her the award of being the best supporting actress in a youth film. Summer Catch is a great demonstration of her ability. Despite her impressive performance in the Rules of Attraction her film did not receive much success. The Texas Chainshaw Massacre horror film had the attention of the general public. The suspense films she has acted in has shown her to be an experienced actor.
